A sex addict may feel that their sexual activity feels “out of control” and they feel compelled to seek out and engage in this sexual behavior even when it has caused problems within their personal, social and work lives.
Examples of Sex Addiction:
For some people, these examples may be a lifestyle choice. This does not define addiction. The difference between the addict and the non-addict is that these behaviours feel out of control.
If you’re unsure whether you are a sex addict, you can assess yourself on the ATSAC website.
